  • Wolves agree deal to sign £23m forward in January - reports
Wolverhampton Wanderers are edging closer to completing a move for Red Bull Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-Chan, according to reports in Germany.
Wolves have been extensively linked with Hwang, who has been in scintillating form for the Austrians.
Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell is believed to have flown out to watch the forward in their Champions League encounter with Liverpool.
Now the Hamburger Morgenpost has reported that the deal to bring him to Molineux is complete and he will make the switch to the Premier League in the January window.
It is claimed a £23m fee has been agreed with Salzburg and that Wolves have convinced the South Korean to join, despite a number of other clubs in the running.
The 23-year-old has scored nine times this season and created a further 14 in just 22 competitive appearances.
Takumi Minamino has already made the move from Salzburg to the Premier League, after his transfer to Liverpool was confirmed last week.
Nuno Espirito Santo has claimed that Wolves will be active in the January window, with the club still battling on both domestic and European fronts.
